Sheep Body Parts and Meat Cuts

During this skill-a-thon members will be asked to identify different cuts of meat and the body parts of a lamb. We will be reviewing the body parts and meat cuts during the meeting.

Meat Cuts

Cuts of meat are extremely important to know in the sheep industry. Members need to know what they are producing with their projects.
Many times a judge will ask showmen to show the location of important meat cuts during showmanship.

Sheep Body Parts

For this portion of the skill-a-thon we will be going over the body parts and the importance of each part. Members need to be able to identify important parts of their lamb for showmanship classes.
