Rules & Regulations
1. Entries will be accepted from residents of the State of Indiana and surrounding states.
2. Animals must not be born after January 1, 2020.
3. Wether and ewe lambs may be shown.
4. Two animals may be exhibited per exhibitor.
5. Entry fees will be $5.00 per animal.
6. Live weight of animals must be between 90 and 145 lbs.
7. Animals must be slick shorn and free of blankets upon entering the barn.
8. Classes will be divided by weight only.
9. The Open Class Carcass Show Committee will rule on problems that arise at the show and their decision will be final.
10. All lambs exhibited in the carcass show will have at least .15 back fat or will be disqualified.
NEW in 2020: Animals can be brought to just be judged for the rail judging. Animals must be brought in for weigh-in and abide to live weight rules. Animals need to be slick shorn. They will then be put on the truck for the carcass evaluation only.
Show Premiums
Each Class Live Weight $10, $8, $6, $4, $2
Champion on Rail $100.00
Reserve Champion on Rail $75.00
On Rail $50, $45, $40, $35, $30, $25, etc.
